After the peach tree has undergone the harsh environment of winter, no matter whether it is the soil fertility state, the tree shape, or the growth of the branches, it is no longer adapted to the reproduction. The main management measures after peach fruit harvesting are as follows.

1. Fine cut. Peach trees grow after a winter, the tree is disordered, strong and weak, branches are messy. Therefore, after the fruit is harvested, the peach tree must be subjected to a full-scale fine pruning. The pruning time is delicate, and it starts from the end of April to the end of June. Early ripening peaches can not be cut early, shearing too early will make the summer tree poor control, autumn fruit branches are too long, dense branches within the shed. Pruning too late will make the roots of the nutrients provided by the blade supply, trimming prematurely weakening the roots, resulting in yellowing of the summer leaves. There are two aspects of specific trim content: First, maintain the original tree. When the tree is disordered, keep the original tree shape by trimming. When the original tree shape does not adapt to the production needs and change the tree shape, pruning is the best time of the year. The second is to retract all the resulting branches. When retracting, all the fruit branches will be cut by 2 to 3 buds with the ability to leave the base to promote the new shoots to form the result of the next year.

2. Fertilize the soil. Pruning after fruit harvesting, cutting a large number of branches, to create a space environment for fertilization and soil improvement, this time is the best time for fertilization of greenhouses. There are two types of fertilization: base fertilizer and topdressing fertilizer.

(1) Base fertilizer. Using farmyard manure or purchased finished organic manure, the application amount of base fertilizer (for example, farmyard manure) is 2 to 3 times the normal yield of peach. The fertilization method is a furrowing method. A groove of 40 cm in depth, 25-40 cm in width and a length of the same length as the tree line is formed between the rows of peach trees. 3. Control pests. The space inside the pruned peach shed is relatively spacious, which is conducive to the prevention and control of various pests and diseases, especially branch pests such as mulberry white peony and pink neck pheasant.
