However, the scientific community has a detailed mechanism for the action of these two components in cells. Not completely clear.

Professor Hanaka Konon et al. of Kyoto University in Japan blocked the enzymes in the cells that decompose abnormal proteins in mice and caused the cells to enter an oxidized state, artificially increasing the accumulation of abnormal proteins. As a result, it was found that after the oxidative stress response of cells was enhanced, the survival rate of the cells was reduced by about 40%.

However, after the researchers added resveratrol and sesamin to the experimental mouse cells, they found that the cell survival rate was improved. The survival rate of the cells increased by 10% to 20% after adding the above components for 8 hours as compared with the cells without the above components.

The researchers further found that this is due to the fact that resveratrol and sesamin protect the mitochondria that produce energy in cells, suppress excess reactive oxygen species, weaken oxidative stress, and protect cells. The researchers pointed out that these two components should have the same effect on the human body. However, they do not advocate that people excessively ingest these ingredients.
