Kmirov pigs were produced in the former Soviet Union in Kymilov. The Kmilov pigs introduced into China are mainly distributed in Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian and Shanghai.

Variety characteristics Kemilov pigs are sturdy and well-structured. The head is medium and large, slightly concave on the face, ears upright or slightly leaning forward. Deep chest, straight back, plump hindquarters. Legs and feet strong. Coats are black and white, white hair is patchy or irregularly distributed. Nipples are arranged in 6 pairs and 7 pairs.

The breeder's Kumilov pig boar weighs 283.88 kg, has a body length of 166.67 cm and a bust of 157.69 cm. The adult sow weighs 179.92 kg and has a body length of 147.70 cm and a circumference of 137.63 cm.

Variety evaluation Kemilov pigs have a wide range of adaptability, and they can maintain a relatively stable production level both in the cold northern and hot southern countries and at low feeding levels. Hybrids with local breeds have a high heterosis. However, the growth rate is not fast in the later period, and there is less lean body carcasses.
