Answer: Sika deer breeding and cattle are almost all ruminants. The sexual maturity of doe is above 2.5 years old, but 4 to 5 years old is appropriate. Doe estrus cycle is 10 to 20 days, an average of 12 days, estrus duration 18 to 36 hours.

In a breeding season, the female deer can estrus many times and once it is pregnant, it will no longer be in heat. In the early stage of her estrus, the herd showed excitement, waving tails, swelling of the vulva, congestion, and outflow of clear mucus.
