Pay attention to feeding chickens

Feeding chickens should be based on the optimal amount of water for chickens to drink.

Chickens of 1-6 weeks of age are growing at a weekly age of 20-100 ml per chicken; 100-200 ml per day of 7-12 weeks old young chicks; 200-230 ml per day of non-laying hens; 230 per day of laying hens -300 ml.

According to the proportion of feed intake at normal temperature (20 °C), the amount of water consumed by the chicken should be 2 times the intake; in the high temperature (above 33 °C) environment, the amount of drinking water should be 5 times the intake.

When the egg production rate is 50%, the water requirement for each laying hen is 170 ml/day for chickens. When the laying rate increases by 10%, the drinking water volume increases by 12 ml.
