First, high temperature treatment

1. Sun exposure. In the hot summer sun, when the ground temperature is not lower than 45 °C, the new mung bean is thinly spread on the concrete floor and turned once every 30 minutes to make it evenly heated and maintained for more than 3 hours, which can kill the larvae.

2. Boiling water. Put the mung beans in the bamboo basket, immerse them in boiling boiling water, and keep stirring for 1-2 minutes. Immediately wash the basket in cold water, then spread it out to dry.

3. Steamed beans in boiling water. Spread the beans evenly in the steamer, dilute in boiling water for 5 minutes, and remove to dry. Since this method damages the germ, the treated mung bean should not be kept or green bean sprouts.

The above high temperature treated mung bean is slightly darker in color and suitable for edible mung beans stored in the home.

For large quantities of mung beans, it is possible to use a closed storage method. After the mung bean is exposed to the hot sun for 5 hours, it is stored in a sealed heat. The principle is that the high temperature beans in the warehouse breathe vigorously, releasing a large amount of carbon dioxide, causing the larva to suffocate and die.

Second, low temperature treatment

1. Use the cold winter to freeze the larvae naturally. Choose the cold weather after the strong cold wave transit, spread the mung bean on the cement field into a wavy thin layer about 6-7 cm thick, flip it once every 3-4 hours, and cover the shed cloth 1.5 meters high at night. It can prevent frost and immersion bath, and it is good for radiation cooling. After 5 days and nights, remove frozen dead bodies and impurities, chill into the warehouse, close the doors and windows, and achieve the purpose of freezing dead larvae.

2. Use a refrigerator, freezer or cold storage to kill insects. After putting the mung bean into the bag, fasten the bag and place it in the freezer. The temperature is controlled below -10 °C, and the larvae can be frozen after 24 hours. Other beans can also be treated as described above.

Third, the drug treatment

1. Aluminum phosphide treatment. When the temperature is 25 °C, 2 pieces of aluminum phosphide per 1 cubic meter of mung bean are fumigated for 3 to 5 days under closed conditions, then placed in the crucible for 2 days, filled with wheat bran, pressed tightly and tightly, 15 days. The insecticidal rate can reach 98%-100%, and the control effect is the best. This can not only kill insects, kill eggs, but also affect the activity and consumption of mung bean germ. Be sure to seal tightly, place it in a dry place, and do not get hot and cold, so as to avoid the occurrence of oxygen deficiency.

2. Alcohol fumigation. Pour 50 grams of alcohol into a small cup, put the small cup into the mung bean bucket, seal it, and kill the bug after the alcohol has evaporated in a week.

3. Dichlorvos fumigation. Put the dichlorvos into the vial, seal it with gauze, place it on the surface of the mung bean, store the mung bean for 5-7 days, remove the dichlorvos bottle, and seal it. The insecticidal rate of this method is above 95%. For every 100 kilograms of mung beans stored, 80% of the dichlorvos emulsifiable concentrate is used.
