(1) genetic factors;
(2) Long standing or walking too long, excessive load;
(3) often wear pointed shoes or high heels.
The most common reason for hallux valgus is to wear high heel pointed shoes. The front part of the pointed shoe has a triangular shape. When the high heel stands, it forces the front of the foot into a narrow triangular area. Because of the lack of elasticity of the upper leather, the big toe is forced to evert, and the small toe is inverted. Because the heel is higher, the long extensor tendons of the traction hallucinate tend to slide to the lateral side, becoming a blister force for ulnar hallux valgus, increasing the incidence of valgus.
